fraz0132 Posted June 3, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2011 We are going in July on the Elation to Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Anything we must do. We are in our early 30s and will not have kids. Any tips on the ship? What time do we need to get on the ship? We are staying in Mobile the night before. firefly333 Posted June 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2011 I left my hotel at 10 am .. and walked to the port, but most people arrive 10:30 to 11 am or so. Id get there so I could board in time to eat lunch, why waste a meal onboard? The deli which is hidden behind the area with the salads (caty corner to the pizza) does double duty and will cook you a omelet in the morning. .. though I admit I go to the MDR almost every morning as I find it faster than waiting in line. This ship does have a Mongolian BBQ, closes at 2:30, except on port days when it opens at noon, its open a extra hour. free sushi too, its across from the casino at dinner time. fraz0132 Posted June 3, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted June 3, 2011 I've read about people on here saying make sure you stick with the ship's time. Is Montego Bay and Grand Cayman on the same time?
suezyq50 Posted June 4, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 4, 2011 At Grand Cayman, be sure to do Sting Ray city. We have used captain Marvin twice. On the ship, check out the sushi bar. It is near the photo shop. Now additional charge. Nice appetizer. We also liked the farewell party. Free drinks. I liked the adult pool, but the area is small.
