For anyone who is celebrating a November 2011 birthday with Princess( you must have received the invitation directly from Princess by email or view deals in My Princess on the website and book by June 30th) they are offering OBC. $25 for inside and ocean view and $50 for balcony or suite. Since my partner and I are both celebrating birthdays during our cruise we are each receiving $50 for the mini suite we booked. Thanks Princess for the wonderful gift. We are planning to use the credit to enjoy the ultimate balcony dinner.:D

The way I see it it is just for November sailings. As far as it being combined with other offers I can't say. We had questioned if we could both get the OBC or was it just one per stateroom. Audry at customer service( she is fantastic!!! I have never encountered a customer service rep quite like her) who has been appointed to handle this promotion got it for both of us. Our actual birthday,s are on days that we will be on the ship.

Oops, sorry, I just realized that you had mentioned a name in a previous post. But to ask explore another question the, how did you find out about this?

We were already booked and got the credit. As long as the Birthday is during the month of November and you received the offer from Princess in an email or online in the My Princess webpage on their website under view deals. If you have not completed all the sections in My Profile/ My preferences and Circolo Membership section of My Princess could be the reason why you did not receive the offer.

We don't get the opportunity to look at our deals on the website in the UK.The site is completely different, and I have a birthday in November!

It might be regional, our personalizer has been filled out since last November with the birthday request for my wife and she didn't receive anything yet.

We'll be on a November cruise and my wife is born in November. I called Princess last night when I saw this thread here and the agent knew nothing about the promo, nor did her supervisor.

 

She suggested I call back today and see if Custom Relations was open (which it wasn't last evening when I called). Again, the original CS agent knew nothing but did put me on hold while she contacted Customer Relations.

 

She came back and confirmed that, indeed, there was such a promotion that was initiated in May. She noted that, while I booked long before then, I should have my TA contact Princess about adding the OBC to my wife's account and she made a notation in my record that my TA would call.

 

So, I emailed my TA about the situation and requested that he follow through. We'll see........

I called Skymiles cruises to change a prior booking to one in November on the Ruby Princess just a few days ago. The representative changed our reservation and also informed me of the November Bday OBC for $50 (Balcony). I had no prior knowledge of the offer. We also each have $50 OBC for booking a future cruise while onboard. I am sure we will put them to good use in one of the specialty restaurants and perhaps the sanctuary. A nice benefit!

If you booked through Princess, call and ask to be connected to Customer Relations. If through a TA, then he/she has to make the call. My wife got the $50 OBC when my TA called last week.

I got this Birthday-OBC for Don too. We are cruising in Nov. (Emerald Princess again) and he will celebrate his B-Day on the ship. Hope you and Al have a great up-coming cruise! Ohhhh BTW...Adelle and Don will be on the same cruise with us. We will miss you and Al...maybe next year we can all cruise again together!:D

We are actually getting underway on my 50th birthday (Nov 27th) on the Ruby. When I saw this post yesterday I emailed my TA right away trying to see if it might work out for us. Come to find out that the OBC is only available to past Princess cruisers.......darn!

 

 

Oh well, we will enjoy it none the less and if any of you would like to throw a casino chip my way....that would be good also. ;-)

Just got off the phone with Customer Relations at Princess and this is what they told me.

The cruise had to be booked "between" June 11 to June 30 for the OBC to be applied
