kzooknoedel Posted June 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2011 We'll be cruising on the Veendam in July along with my mother who is 70 and has some mobility issues. She walks with a walker or a cane for shorter distances. Are there any issues we need to be aware of with embarkation / disembarkation? Are there any excursions or sites which we should avoid? Would it be better to rent a wheel chair or a scooter? Any BTDT advice?
Rare Essiesmom Posted June 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2011 There is a board here for disabled cruising, under special interest cruising. I know there are several people there who are Bermuda experts. You might ask there. EM
