Price Drop on Oasis of the Seas 12-10-2011

I read the Guidelines and I didn't see anything that we can talk about actual price drops. I am not a TA or advertising for one. But there is a price drop for the Oasis of the Seas Western Carrib sailing on 12-10-11.

 

If this gets removed then I will know that it should not be posted :P

Wish ours would have dropped for Oct, but our category is now sold out. So, no price drops for us!

Not sure I'm understanding your confusion but...

 

If you are booked on the 12/10/11 Oasis and there is a price drop, then call whomever you booked with and ask for a price adjustment. You are well outside final payment (I'm imagining that you won't reach final until somewhere around early October) and any price drops that occur before final will reduce the price at the end.

 

If you booked prior to May 17 (I think it's the 17th) 2010, then you are eligible for drops up to 48 hours before sailing. But everyone else can get them before final payment by calling.

 

If you used a TA, then call them. Hopefully, before booking with them you determined their policy for price drops and know what they will do. But do it quickly, whichever way you go. Prices change all the time and if the drop is gone when you call, you won't get it.

ETA: I think I understand...you found a price drop and want to alert others on this sailing. That's fine. No issues with that.

One, jealous that you are going on Oasis - I definitely want to cruise on that ship.

 

Two, I wish one of my trips had a price drop. Not because they are expensive, just because I love to save money!!!

D'oh! I'm one week and probably the wrong direction in the Carribean to get a price drop:mad:

Already bought our air and really did want Eastern this time, and truthfully with early booking, I don't think we did too badly!

I am glad you posted this price drop information here. It is helpful for those of us shopping for December cruise. (Just got done with an Oasis cruise though:rolleyes:)

I saw the drop this morning and called our TA. Haven't her from her. Sure hope she got it for us.
