Using "CruisE-mail" aboard ship ?

Booked for Nov. 2nd on the Miracle and we're thinking of leaving our laptop at home. I see you can use the ship's computers in the Internet Cafe and use something called "CruisE-mail". Carnival doesn't explain on their site how you go about setting up a "CruisE-mail" account though ! Anyone used this before? How/when do you set it up ?

CruisE-mail™ - is our personalized email service set up as a convenience for those guests who either do not have their own email or are unable to access their own service provider. There is an additional charge of $3.95 for each outgoing (sent) message. No additional charges apply for received (incoming) messages. The feature is not available on the Carnival Dream and Magic.

 

Basically, if you have a problem logging in your regular account and need to send an email to someone important then use this.

Or you can go to Carnival.com and go to the Community & Buzz tab click on that then sign up with a user name for Funville~ have the people at home do the same and then you can use the forum (ie: message board) to communicate~ of course since it's a pulic board you wouldn't be able to post anything personal but you could at least check in and vice versa~for free
