Delta Queen Posted June 16, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Hi: What electrical supply is available in cabins on Regatta? I did try a search but got no results. My DH requires a CPAP machine & wants to know if he needs a converter. Also are there any outlets near the bed or do we need an extension cord? Thanks June
skigrams Posted June 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2011 You will not need a converter. However, I do believe for all of the cabin categories you will need an extension cord. The electrical outlet is on the desk/vanity. So according to what type cabin you have and where the desk is located, you might need a very long extension cord. I do know that someone on one of my cruises, called the room steward and he took care of setting up the unit and had the cords going around the room rather than across where someone might trip at night. Hope this information helps. Bobi
Delta Queen Posted June 16, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Thanks Bobi, When we cruised on Regatta before he didn't take his CPAP with him so we didn't need to know about outlets etc. June
bbwex Posted June 17, 2011 #4 Share Posted June 17, 2011 There are two outlets at the desk -- one is 120 V, and the other is European 220 V. I always take a plug strip (for all of our adaptors, etc.). But there is nothing closer the bed.

comcox Posted June 17, 2011 #6 Share Posted June 17, 2011 I use a CPAP and was on Regatta last year. I always travel with a nine foot cord and that reached fine across the room. Just have to remember not to trip on it in the dark.
