Best transportation from BWI to Pier

Just booked Carnival Pride for June 2012. Is taxi the best way to go for 3 people? How far apart is the airport from pier? Any idea on cost? Thanks for your help!!

Taxi fare is about $35.00 before tip and the distance is about 15 miles.

 

I would go with a taxi.

IMHO, fly in the night before. Stay at a hotel that will shuttle you from Air Port to hotel then next day feed you breakfast then shuttle you to the port. My BIL is doing that this September, using Country Inn & Suites BWI.

 

This will protect you from air line interuptions. And you will be more relaxed.

 

They will also shuttle you from pier to BWI at end of cruise. The cost of 2 taxi rides vs one night hotel with breakfast thrown in.
