sddsddean Posted June 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2011 Personally, I'd go for a route with both Geiranger and Flam in it as they are both long trips down fjords, so very scenic. That gives us option 2 and 3. From your point of view (coming from the US) the trip to Harwich is far more of a pain than the relatively easy trip to Southampton (whether you fly into LHR or LGW). Of course, if you plan to stop in London for a day or two, its not so bad getting to Harwich as you would have to go through London anyway, and it just makes London a natural stopover point.
