I_heart_vaca Posted June 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2011 My BF and I booked the Crown Princess in March for Western Caribbean. We actually have an opportunity to change to another week in March if we wish. We know it is Spring Break and will therefore have a higher percentage of kids and teens, young adults then usual - we accept it - this is the time frame that works best for us. But, I am interested in anyone's experience with going in the begining, middle or end of March. Our choices seem to be 3rd, 24th and 31st for embarkation. All advice appreciated.:D
cherylandtk Posted June 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2011 For 2012, the later you go in March, the fewer the schools celebrating spring break the same time. http://www.paradiseparties.com/springbreakdates.asp http://www.studentcity.com/blog/when-is-my-spring-break/
NeuroQueen Posted June 30, 2011 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2011 Easter is on April 8, 2012. If you are doing western the water can still be chilly. I would go on the 24th or the 31st since cold fronts can still hit southern Florida early in march! No since freezing on sail away! Have a great cruise!
