Sanctuary?

I've checked out the video on the Princess site about the sanctuary, but I can't tell if there is a pool in that area. I tend to think not, since everyone in the video is dressed like they just came from lunch in the main dining room.

We were on the Island and there was a small pool on the lower level of the Sanctuary.

We are taking our first Princess Cruise, on the Island, next April. Do you need to make reservations to obtain get a lounge chair on The Sanctuary or is it on a first come basis? I'm only asking because I read on another post that the newest Princess cruise ship has a reservations only system in place for this area.

If you wish to book Sanctuary for the entire week it's first-come-first-served.

 

If you wish to book for specific days you need to line up early in the morning.

I believe on most of the ship's the spa's pool is just a deck (or small stairway down) from the sanctuary

There is a small pool and hot tubs. We love it there, it's nice, quiet and child free.
