OK, so April 22 would be about 11 weeks for Capt. Nielsen - one more than the usual 10 week rotation but would take him up to the dry dock visit so a natural break point. So it would be logical to figure Capt. Kristoffersen would be taking Mariner to the Med. after the dry dock? Not that it matters a lot but I will do some thread searches on the probable Captain to glean info about personality and perferences.

I'm still thinking a 4-15 rotation, going into dry dock has nothing to do with it. Capt Per would like to come back and have a week to settle in before hitting dry dock.

How accurate is this? I know you mentioned some might be off by weeks or even months. I read capt. Johnny's book and my family was looking forward to sailing with him. We leave May 27 so we might just miss him?

If my dates are right, you will miss him by 1 week. Personally, I'd count that as a blessing....

The rotation for Navigator's captain occured on 3/11/12.... not that one day makes any difference.

Captain Johnny took over the Allure on March 25. Captain Zini was still in charge until then.

Karen, I have a dumb question. I see where you originally had Captain Sindre replacing Captain Claus on April 5 which, according to the web and catalog is when Radiance left Sydney to make her way back to the US.

 

Today I see that you have him starting his rotation on April 6?:confused: Did they overnight in Sydney for some unexpected reason?

Looks like Capt. Johnny for our Allure cruise on May 13. We were supposed to have him for our second cruise on the Mariner back in 2008, but he was away for some type of training..
