coasterbrad Posted July 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2011 Hi everyone! I will be sailing on the Legend next month. Our group will be my parents, my sister (25), and myself (21). This will be our second cruise, after sailing on Glory to Canada last summer. I'd love to hear any good tips or information about the ship that would come in handy for our vacation. Any secret or hard to find locations with great views? Is there a hot tub/pool in the gym area like I have seen on some of the other ships? I've been spending a ton of time reading on CC and there is so much great information! Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much :).

Thanks for posting the fun times! I read there's a different cruise director on the legend right now, so the funtimes will probably be different next month. I'll be on the Legend with the new cruise director as well. Looking at the fun times, it looks like there isn't as much trivia and games as I have had on past cruises. I'm glad there will be a different cruise director in charge of planning activities.

Eileen G Posted July 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Just off the Legend yesterday and had a great cruise. There is a hot tub in the spa right in the middle of everything. One thing that worked well for us was to grab a table when we first got into the buffet. There are so many stations all over that you need a place for everyone to meet after getting their food. Also make note of which food station is nearest your table so you don't get lost. The buffet can be very confusing. Also remember the pool grills make omlets and eggs to order for breakfast and they are usually not crowded. We had the new CD James and he did a fine job. There really didn't seem to be a lot to do on sea days. Although they did the marriage game show on the last sea day at 3:30 which was nice. They did have trivia everyday. Glad to hear there was trivia everyday. Too bad there weren't much activities to do during sea days.
