Leviosa Posted July 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2011 OK, another question as the cruise draws nearer. Mum-in-law and kids are in a cabin a floor above us. We all plan on doing our own thing but meeting up for dinner, trips out etc. What's the best way of keeping in touch in your expereince? Notes on doors Walkie talkies text messages prearranged meeting times and points? Cheers
cruiseluvva Posted July 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2011 The telephone in each cabin has a message facility so you can call each other or leave a note in the mail box outside the cabin door. Other than that, when we have travelled with friends or relatives on a different deck, we just make arrangement to meet up at specific times. offonhols Posted July 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2011 We're taking walkie talkies for when the kids are at clubs during the day and want to find us at lunchtime for example. We are in adjacent cabins so night time should be OK.
Rare Host Sharon Posted July 12, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2011 Walkie talkies may be a problem if the frequency interferes with ship communications. I have relied on notes in the cabin, telephone messages or pre-arranged meet up points.
