Drop-off time at Cape Liberty- Explorer of the Seas

Hello! We are cruising on Explorer of the Seas in August and have contracted a car service to drop us off at Cape Liberty. What time should we arrange to be dropped off? The cruise paperwork says that boarding will begin at 2:00, but reading the boards has led me to believe that we can board earlier. I'd like to board as quickly and as early as possible.

I have the same question for our pick-up... what time should we schedule the pickup? On my last cruise, our debarkation time was chosen because we had train tickets for a certain time. Is there a good time to tell the van to pick us up?

Thanks in advance!!

getting to the pier around 11 am is fine...boarding usually starts by noon...

as for leaving the ship.....most everyone will be off the ship no later than 10 AM.....depends when you get off.......there really is no place to sit and wait and it will be hot. i would arrange to contact your car service VIA email the day before when you see what color/number tags you have for leaving....
