Tour operators - Dalmatian Coast

Hello everyone I am looking for some help with tours – can anyone recommend any local travel agencies in the following ports of call;

Koper, Slovenia.

Dubrovnik Croatia.

Split, Croatia.

Hvar Croatia.

Rovinj Croatia.

Korcula, Croatia.

Sibenik, Croatia.

Opatija, Croatia.

I am specifically looking for more active tours i.e. mountain biking, rock climbing, abseiling etc, basically anything other than going around in a group or sitting in a car or bus looking at things being pointed out. I have found a few agencies on the internet but thought I would dip my toe in the wealth of knowledge this site has to offer as personal recommendations are invaluable

Thanks:).

Hi,

We used a company called Secret Dalmatia when we docked in Hvar Croatia. We docked there at 1pm so we only had a short visit. Our guide there was Ante Lacman and he took us to a vineyard where we had a wine tasting and olive oil tasting in a very unique cellar. We then went for a meal in the countryside which to this date is the most outstanding meal we have ever had on a Med. Cruise (6 Med cruises so far...). I would highly recommend this tour company and can't wait to use them again.

Good luck with your search.

Just home from this cruise. Our friends took ship tours and loved them! We did the markets!

Do go with the chef on his free shopping tour. One is in split and I can't remember the other. He bought us all a special fish! Then cooked it at any time we wanted!

We would go again in amoment!

Since you will be in Venice on changeover day, why not book the secret rooms tour of the Doges Palace online before you leave home. It takes you through the hidden passageways, Casanovas prison etc. We did it 2 years ago, friends tried to join us on the day but it was sold out . Plus if you book online you can walk past the queues.

Did you do any other excursions offered by the ship?
