Flight time.

We booked both our cruise and airfare with Seabourn.Our flight out of FCO has now changed to depart at 12 noon.Since we have the private transfers will they get us there in time?Last time we used their bus transfer and that took quite a while between loading all the luggage and passengers.

If the ship arrives in port on time and there are no problems with clearance, etc. you should get there in time.

 

As you know, FCO is one of the more chaotic airports.

 

I prefer to arrive to this airport 2 1/2 to 3 hours before departure just to get all settled in.

 

As you know drive will take 45 minutes to 1 hour.

 

Are you flying back Business Class where you will have a shorter line for check in?

 

And then you need to get through security where the lines can sometimes be very long at this airport.

 

What time does the ship show that it is arriving.

 

Personally I prefer a flight around 1:00 PM but often people do make the earlier ones. In the end whether you ask for later flights than what you now are on come down whether or not you will worry about this before and during the cruise.

 

The good news is that you do have a private transfer which should get you off to the airport sooner.
