Hi, we have been offered 2216&2217 on Svezia deck as inside cabins! but on deck plans they appear as outsides--can anyone explain please , thanks.

andersj, is absolutely correct.

 

The term outside cabin (remains me of the term outside toilet - wc in the back yard) is a misnomer for the cabins 2216 & 2217, as they are situated on the outer side where the ship starts to curve towards the bow (sharp bit) and without windows as the area can get a battering from waves.

 

If you look at the deck plan in the catalogue you will see that cabins 2216 & 2217 have a cabin category of I2 (Inside Cabin).

Thanks for replies, rang Costa [u.K.] and confirmed what we thought-- a definite no-no! moved up a few decks and more towards aft.
