logansnonna Posted July 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2011 I have read on an older post that passengers must carry their passport to cross into Bethlehem from Israel. If this is true I want to be able to give this important info to fellow passengers on our tour in September. We are touring with Guided Tours Israel.
paul929207 Posted July 15, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2011 We were in Israel in 2005. We had to go thru passport control to enter and leave Bethlehem
Rare cruisemom42 Posted July 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2011 I just did this in March 2011, while on a land trip to Israel. Yes, you MUST have your passport with you. But if I am not mistaken, you must have it with you the entire time you are in Israel from a cruise ship anyway. (At least that is what I remember from my cruise stop there in September 2010). smeyer418 Posted July 19, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2011 We were there in March and also had to take our passports with us to enter Bethlehem. It was like entering a prison....
