Just Off Insignia's Land of the Midnight Sun Cruise

We just came home from the Insignia cruise to the northern part of europe. There was no notice of a difference in speed due to the generators, we docked at all ports except for Geiranger and Hellsyt, which is normal.

 

The only problem encounted was a 24 hour virus that put a few people in sick bay. This was NOT Nuro virus, but something else. I must say the crew was very proactive and immediately pulled all the butter, syrups, cookies, utensils, etc. from the buffet counters so that no passenger can touch anything that can cause the spread of the virus. Individual hand sprays of alcohol were handed out to each cabin (we got two upon request). Not too many people were affected, as far as I know. All in all, a great job by the management and crew of the Terrace Cafe, Tapas, etc.

Hope the seas were as smooth as we had them last year

 

We also had the "BUG" on Marina cruise in March ...not a fun way to cruise

We had many people struck with it
