Mobile Restaurant Recommendations

I live in Mobile. I personally would choose Felix's. The Blue Gill is owned by the same family and has an abbreviated menu. The Blue Gill is very laid back. Often Blue Gill has music on the weekend. Both restaurants are on the causeway. Ed's Seafood Shed and the Original Oyster House are other good choices on the causeyway. Wintzell's on Dauphin has lots of atmosphere. America's Junior Miss contestants go to Wintzell's. I really do not think you can go wrong with any of the above choices! Hope you enjoy your visit to our city!

Felix's is a great choice and would've been our second choice. I've also eaten at Ed's and it's good also. Never been to the Blue Gill, we need to give it a try.

Wintzell's is one of my faves but we have one in our hometown now and eat there often.

For all of the criticisms that Mobile gets on some other threads, it's the only other area of the state I would live in (other than my hometown, of course). I will really miss sailing from there.
