cabin to cabin communication

We are traveling on the Caribbean Princess with a group of ten people. I was wondering if it is possible to call from one cabin to another on the phone in the cabin. If not, how do you communicate with the other travelers in your party?

Thanks!

The phone number corresponds to the deck and cabin number. Riviera Deck cabins are 14+ the cabin number (i.e. 14515), Aloha Deck cabins are 12+ the cabin number, Baja 11+, Caribe 10+, Dolphin 9+, Emerald 8+ and Plaza 5+. You can dial a cabin from any of the phones in the public areas too, but I don't think you can retrieve your cabin's voice mails from a public area.
