Confused

I'm confused. Why is it that I look at a post and the next time I come accross it, it has changed? Example: I just read a post from HeatherInFlorida and she had a note at the bottom telling the time left to the CC cruise in Oct 06. Not a clock a note.

 

After I posted and went back to her post the note was gone. ?????

 

I have put a clock on my signature and my DW has put a picture next to our log on but neither one shows up on a consistent bases. Am I just computer illiterate (well yes?) or is there a trick to these things?

I know that for a while last week the board disabled all the avatars and clocks for testing purposes. There may still be some glitch that makes them show sometimes and other times not.

That's one part of the new and improved CC that I don't like. Used to be that the signature stayed "locked" in the threads when the post was made.

Now when I want to print out an old thread that I posted to I have to remember my signature then, change it while I print, then change it back again.

OTOH, the improved boards---once I got used to them---are better than the old ones that I guess I can live with the signature change.
