Race day at garrison savannah

Hi,

Looking for some help,I have discovered that

the Sandy Lane Gold Cup is being held on March 3rd

2012 and we will be in port that day.

Can anyone give me some info as to what times the

racing starts and also is it difficult to get a ticket etc.

The official site is not showing any info at the moment.

We attended the races last June and enjoyed them immensely. We were the guests of my local relatives so I had nothing to do with the planning.

 

I don't believe there is any problem getting into the general admission grandstand and there is plenty of opportunity to wager.

 

Initial post time is in the early afternoon with (when we attended) 6 or 7 races scheduled.

 

Perhaps more specific info will be available closer to the race date.

Hello,

Just thought I would bump this again,

we are looking to go to the Barbados Gold Cup in March

when we visit the Island on the Constellation.

This is the premier race day in Barbados, will it be difficult getting to/from the racetrack.
