Sitka Question

Hello, we will be on the Spirit SB sailing on May 25th. In Sitka, my DW and I were looking at 2 different excursions. Either the kayaking adventure or Sea and Otter excursion. My question is this: Is the kayaking done in the same area as the Sea Otter excursion. Since we want to see the sea otters and kayak, can the one kayaking excursion cover both or should I try and book both seperately?

Sitka is loaded with sea otters, but if this is a priority, I would go with the wildlife quest tour, not likely the same area and a much wider territory covered. My other suggestion would be to book the kayaking independently INQUIRING directly if sea otters are generally seen. listings - http://www.sitka.org
