Water and Coke in Check luggage

Just returned from NCL SEA and our family of four brought on 2 - 12 packs of water and 2 - 12 packs of pop. We only came home with about 5 bottles of water which were used up on the flights home and we left about 3/4 of a 12 pack of pop for the crew.

We tend to drink more water than pop especially when it is hot outside. It was nice having the bottled water for the islands and in our cabin during the evening hours. Sometimes after drinking wine with supper you tend to be a little dry around bedtime. I would definately bring water and some pop on board again.

Forgot to mention that we purchased the beverages before getting on the ship. We did not travel very far with the pop & soda. The "cases" of beverages do not need to be in your carry on luggage when you get to the ship. NCL stuck luggage tags on the cases and they were delivered to our room with our regular luggage. If you want some of the beverages with you as soon as you board, then throw some in your carry on.
