sacway Posted July 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2011 I'm thinking about getting a wrap dress, in a natural fabric, about knee length, suitable for any restaurant. Any recommendations?

Iluvmypuggle Posted July 24, 2011 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2011 I've purchased a couple from Macy's Alfani brand. I have a solid black & a printed one... Not only are they flattering & appropriate for diff occasions but they are that type of material that doesn't wrinkle when you throw them in your bag. MomtoMacy Posted August 3, 2011 #7 Share Posted August 3, 2011 I'm new to cruising...but not to the wrap dress! I love wrap dresses! :) If you can, definately go and try on the original, DVF wrap dress. I have two, one in black and one in a pattern and they're wonderful. They carry them at Saks and Neiman Marcus and probably other stores too, as well as online at DVF. My SIL had a wrap dress from BodenUSA that looked WONDERFUL on her but when I tried one, the fabric just didn't work for me (although now they carry them in a different fabric than I tried, so I may have to try again). But that's just me...so that might be something to check out. They have some really fun dresses, great patterns etc http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Womens-Dresses.html I also have a wrap dress from Garnet Hill that I love. It has cap sleeves...but I don't see it anymore on their website, unfortunately. They are another place that has the basics, but also has fun patterns, fabrics etc http://www.garnethill.com/ This silk wrap dress is on sale today for $68...so cute! http://www.garnethill.com/silk-wrap-dress/205447 Have fun shopping! And maybe for my next cruise, too! ;)
Rare TracieABD Posted August 7, 2011 #9 Share Posted August 7, 2011 I have several, and they are so easy to wear and pack. DVF got it right when she invented this number. Looks good on almost every woman!:)
Colorado Kat Posted August 7, 2011 #10 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Very pretty, but be careful wearing them out on deck if it's windy.
