Help with travel documentation?

Hi all,

I know this question has been answered many times before but I couldn't find it. We are trying to schedule a cruise next May. My daughter-in-law is from Japan. She has decided that she does not want to totally give up her Japanese citizenship. She is living in the US on a Green Card. What I found is that she should only need her Japan Passport and her green card to take a (WHT) cruise. Is there anything else that would be required for her to board the ship? That is all she will need to return to the US. However, she will need to check with the consulates of the countries you are to visit as to whether a Japanese citizen needs a visa. EM
