Snacks in carry on

Thinking about bringing a bunch of 100 calorie snacks with us. Will they allow it and if so should we put them in our carry on's or pack them?

DH & I love almonds and some trail mixes, we usually bring two big bags from Trader Joe's with us, I just put them in my checked luggage. Love having a quick snack with us on excursions.

yes in carry on..i pack pringles since they are expensive onboard
