ARCADIA or AURORA or CUNARD

I have cruised on P & O Aurora, Oriana and Oceana. Aurora is my favourite.

Next year I am cruising with 2 first time cruisers - only one is really keen! Looking at dates and ports of call Arcadia looks best. BUT I have read some poor reviews and am concerned that we will all be disappointed and my friends will wonder what on earth I've been going on about!!!

Is the Arcadia that bad? Tired? Poor food? Shabby? Should I try one of Cunard's Queens?

Advice please.

Hi, and welcome to CC Co. UK.

If you go back to the index, and look under shipping lines, you'll find both P&O and Cunard. It might be as well to ask on both of those....though some answers may be a bit biased! ;)

At the moment on the P&O page, someone's asking about Ventura v Queen Vic, and receiving some good answers IMHO....

I haven't heard much wrong about Arcadia, except she's not as glamourous as the queens, but she's the same basic ship as QV and QE....and is for adults only. Of course she's older than those 2 Queens, but still a new-ish ship.

Try the pages. :)

Jo.
