Place to park in NYC while on cruise

Are there any reasonably priced places to park for a week if taking a cruise ex NYC

 

Are there any hotels nearby where one can leave their vehicle if they stay over before and after cruise?

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not really. You might be able to get free parking at one of the hotels by either of the airports but I can't confirm that.

 

There is parking at the pier but it is cash only and a flat daily rate. Parking in NYC is not inexpensive.

You might want to hire a car and return it in NYC so that you don`t have to worry about parking and then hire it again for the way home - that might even be less expensive then trying to park in NYC

My husband and I plan to park in New Jersey for $7 a day and take the ferry over and then walk six blocks...I have to get the directions from my TA but I will let you know!

Parking in NYC is at a premium; it is an island afterall. Some hotels include parking for their guests while there are there, but most do not. Parking the pier itself is $24 per day; everywhere else in NYC parking starts at $42 per day plus tax.
