TA westbound - how far north?

We're on the westbound TA next month. One of the ports is Akureyri which is close to the Arctic Circle. Does anyone who has done this route know if we will actually cross the Circle, and if we do, will we be told in advance?

You will cross the Arctic Circle. Akureyri is below the circle, but the approach goes above the circle. We recieved a certificate for the Arctic Circle crossing on the Crown in 2009 on Westbound TA.

Thanks, Saratpga. That's cool (pun intended LOL)

We went above the Circle on the Ocean P near Akereri and also got a certificate. Seems we did it about 2am, so we could not see the line. :)

Exactly... Did it last summer too, but sadly no certificate for us :o

Srpilo :)
