Does anyone know if you still get extra minutes when buying on embarkation day? If not we'll buy a package before we go and get the extra minutes.

You get more minutes with the pre pay package than you get with the package on embarkation day.

There is a signup bonus, but not for Platinum and Elite.

Apparently that depends on the ship or internet manager. We never get the bonus minutes and we are also elite.

How recent is this? They eliminated it about two years ago and since then I've been on the Pacific, Coral, Crown. Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Star and Grand.

I got the bonus minutes on Emerald in April. I was surprised

as I have been on Emerald quite a few times, and this was the

only time. Probably a mistake.

Thanks for advice everyone. We got the extra minutes on the Grand two years ago on the first day but we heard it has since changed. Just wanted to clarify.

You will get twice as many bonus minutes if you purchase before the cruise, assuming you are not Platinum or Elite.

If you are Platinum or Elite DO NOT purchase minutes prior to the cruise. You cannot use the internet credit to cover the pre-purchase.
