Where do I buy internet minutes aboard ?

For some reason in establishing an account the beginning of a cruise it does not fully connect and need internet manager.

 

Therefore suggest you do it at internet cafe and than afterwards you can use your laptop if you have one.

 

Guest services has nothing to do with this.

No need to go anywhere!!!

 

When you open up a browser on your laptop or other wifi connected device you'll see a welcome screen that will require an account for general access to the internet. There will also be, over on the right hand side, a list of free sites you can access... Carnival.com and a few other things.

Your user name will be your last name and your cabin number. Your password can be pretty much anything you want. You select the plan you want to use (a package of minutes for X dollars or minute by minute for $.75/minute) and off you go!

The connection on most ships is very slow. The Carnival Dream has a 2.4 mb pipe and the Magic is a tad faster. All other ships have 750 kb of bandwidth that all passengers share for all purposes... weak... very weak...
