I went to the book store today to buy a Rick Steves book on Istanbul. I also found a great book for this area, if you are a Christian. It is The New Christian Traveler's Guide to the Holy Land by Charles H. Dyer and Gregory A. Hatteberg. Just thought I would share this.

Also, has anyone ever stayed at the Hotel Amira in Istanbul. I tried a search of this forum and did not find anything.

Have you looked on TripAdvisor.com for the hotel? I think you will find that website very helpful, I use it constantly.

Yes, I love TA. That is where I found the hotel, but I was hoping someone here on CC had stayed there. I guess I will just go with the reviews on TA. Thank you for the suggestion, though.:)
