Would you pay extra for a Panorama Balcony?

We are looking at booking on the Liberty for april 2012. The Panorama with the past guest price is $120 more. Have any of you stayed on that deck before and what are your thoughts about noise and location? Is it a good move or no?

Yes, I would pay the difference. Fewer cabins on that deck means it's quiet and it's very close to all the action. You are just a few steps away from the Lido deck.

loved, loved, loved, our cabin on panorama deck on the Liberty. Quiet close to everything we needed. I would pay the extra.

Had 1060 and loved this room, it is worth the extra! Quiet and convenient.

I also loved this deck. Like others have said, there are very few rooms on this deck which makes it extrememly quiet and you're so close to the lido deck.

I loved the panarama balcany for many reasons as mentioned here but personaly would not pay the extra $ for it. I think as long as I am on the ship that is all that matters.

You are very close to the ledo deck and it is very nice being so close but not at that cost.

Thanks guys! You all really helped with my decisions. I'm looking to book 1039. We love to sleep in and be lazy, even on port days so quiet areas are key for us!

Haha, I am in room 1039 on the Triumph....LOVE the higher decks and I do pay extra for them. Smaller, quieter and less children.

We were in 1061 on the Liberty. Great ship, great room as I said before. Of all the Carnival ships I have cruised (I have only missed 4 ships and this includes the old ones) the Liberty is my all time favorite ship.
