Key Largo to FLL on morning of departure?

We are staying the weekend prior to our cruise in Key Largo. I was planning on driving from there to the port that Monday morning. Anyone see problems with this? We are in a GS on the Liberty and would expect that we'd get priority boarding once we arrived at the terminal. I'm not too worried about getting on board FIRST but I don't want to be last either. Advice is welcomed :)

It is just under a 2-hour drive; I would enjoy breakfast, get on the road late enough to avoid the worst of the rush hour traffic around Miami (about 9:00 or so), which will put you at the port about 11:00 - you should be eating lunch on the ship before noon. Good luck! :)
