How are the Seas from Hawaii to Ensenada?

We are looking into sailing the Celebrity Infinity in November from Hawaii to Ensenada. How rough will the seas be? We've sailed some pretty rough seas over to Bermuda ... but only for a couple days. Sailing to Ensenada is 4 days.

Any comments?

If you have sailed the north atlantic as it sounds like you have...you most likely think your still on land... unless you are luckiy enough to find a typhoon.. in any case.. May you always have fair winds and following seas.. GBones sends

We did that crossing in October 2001. The seas were not as rough as going by Bermuda. We thought the 5 sea days we had as the best part of the cruise. Enjoy

We did the Infinity to Hawaii last October and the seas were EXTREMELY rough. Went into one port, hit the dock, knocked all the dishes off the tables in the dining room, so the captain announced that we were leaving. It was so rough that the water in the spa was spewing up into the air and onto the deck, like a fountain. Much seasickness going across. I even got sick but I think if I had prepared myself better by taking meclazine the morning we left and keeping on taking it all the time I would have been alright. I had to get the wrist bands and just about everyone who managed to get out of the cabins had them on. However, after about three or four days the sea settled down and from then on it was WONDERFUL. We would do it again in a heartbeat. I dont mean to rain on your parade, just being honest about it.

I went round trip to Hawaii on the Statendam in 2002 in November and it wasn't bad at all. We had beautiful weather in the islands and although there were swells to about 8 feet, the old Statendam rode the waves quite well. I have been on the Infinity once and thought it to be quite top heavy with a lot of movement. This was on an Alaska cruise that came back to San Diego in September 2001.
