Its late so forgive me. We are booked on the Glory in November..see the ticker lol. Anyway, I was looking over our reservations and the price listed looked odd.....so of course I went to the "Find a Cruise" search on Carnival and....

not only is our currently booked 4A Riviera deck 1 listed at less than we paid, but there is also an option for a 4G (interior w/ window on Lido deck 9) for less! Now, here's the thing. The original ressie was made via phone, assumedly under the past guest rate. We had a FCC which has been applied.

The (cheaper, better room) 4G is a special Resident Rate.

Will I have any issues switching this around from Past Guest to Resident, from 4A riviera to Lido, and keeping my FCC benefit?

I plan on calling Carnival tomorrow (again its late), but wondered if anyone had any idea as to why these prices/options didn't pop up before when we booked, which was just this past week.

Thoughts/advice greatly appreciated!~

You are before final payment date so you should be able to get the cheaper price or upgrade with no problem

Just a heads up regarding price changes, upgrading etc if you see something you are interested in call Carnival when you see it. Sometimes these things are fleeting and you may not find the same deal the next day. Anyone at Carnival can check this for you and advise you as to whether or not you are eligible :)
