Photo Tours in Kauai

We are investigating a company in Kauai for a 5-1/2 hour tour of Kauai that limits the tour to 7 people and visits a lot of very photogenic areas.

The website is: http://www.hawaiianphotos.net/kauai_tour_info.htm. Sounds pretty interesting.

Has anyone used them before or know of anyone who has?

I can't be of much help on this but I have looked at this tour as well....sounds wonderful. I am not a photographer nor do I have a fancy camera...a simple one in fact...but Tour 1 sounds like a great way to get to see a lot of beautiful sites.

They have very good reviews on tripadvisor.com and they are rated #1 out of 20 attractions.

If they will pu at cruise terminal I say go for it.

I love Kauai, it offers something very different than the other "popular" island, just go back from a week there.

Not sure what the price is, but there is nothing that they would drive to or stop at that you couldn't do in your own rental car at your pace and stop or not stop based on your fancy.

There are gardens, beaches, canyons, overlooks, waterfalls and even some pretty interesting hikes that are all there for the choosing. Get a good book, do some googling. Its almost impossible to get lost in Kauai as there is really only one road that circles the island ( well almost circles it ). At many stops there will almost always be people more than will to take snapshots of you too. Never was at a place where I was a tourist that I couldn't find someone willing to take my picture.

Good luck!

Thanks for the information on the TripAdvisor reviews. That will be helpful.

Also thanks for the recommendation to rent a car and do our own thing. That is another option but I am not eager to be either a driver or navigator on our trip this year. It's a "leave it to the driver" type trip for us. Very laid back.

Thanks again for every response.
