Plantinum - what is this?

Okay, from what I get out of this, it is something special. Everyone is saying, soon they will be plantinum. How special? What perks do you get? Hey, I am plantinum at the casinos. I get a lot of periks, free rooms, free play, etc. What do you get for being platinum on a cruise ship?

Plantinum is what one does when you sink your tired feet in the sand and say, "Ahh!!"

 

Platinum on the other hand, is what the other posters have stated.

You get one bag's worth of free laundry done each day, you get priority tendering at all of the ports in which you have to tender in, you get to wait on that little roped off area at the purser's desk with maybe 1 person a head of you while there is a line of 25 non-platinum guests waiting, and, most importantly....you get to find out the secret location of the platinum only elevator that takes you from the stern to the bow, and from the bow to the stern. It really comes in handy when you want to go from the MDR in the stern to the late show in the bow and then back to the midnite comedy show in the stern. You don't have to deal with all the congestion along the Promenade deck.;)
