HockeyDAD73 Posted April 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Sooooo...if you had your choice, which suite type would you prefer for a 2 week Panama Canal Cruise?
raudacruise Posted April 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Not even close. Royal Suites have balconeys and Celebrity Suites don't. We don't sail with no balconey. Could be different in Alaska but not on a panama cruise. You also get your little outside hot tub in the RS. George & MaryBeth
Gabbiegirl Posted April 26, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 26, 2004 HI- Have been in both, if money is an issue the CS is a great deal and you have nearly as much space as the RS. True, you don't have a balcony, but the windows are fantastic and we found not having a balcony nowhere near as detrimental as we thought it would be. You don't have the hot tub on the balcony but you do have a HUGE bathtub with jets in the bathroom. The space in the CS is actually better utilized in my opinion. The service was equal in both, in fact the butler in the CS was better than the one in the RS. We will always book the CS unless we have the extra $$ to spend on the RS. Either way you'll have a wonderful time!!
Gabbiegirl Posted April 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2004 One more thing--- if you book the CS, book one on the 6th or 7th floor, from what I understand the ones on the 9th floor get a lot of noise from above!
CINDON Posted April 26, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2004 We've stayed in both and consider the Celebrity Suites the best bargain that Celebrity offers. They are fantastic.
