Juneau Next week

Going to be in Juneau next week, we are cruising princess, and will be there from noon to 10pm. We were planned on taking a cab to mendenhall glacier, then come back and hit the tram, and try to get to one of the salmon bakes as well. Is there enough time for all that? Instead of using a cab to get around would it be better to get a few tours at the end of the gangway?

A cab would be about $60??? round trip, there are shuttle buses, from the tram parking lot for $16 pp round trip.

 

Yes there are booths for some limited tour options at the dock. There is also an option for a rental car, if of interest?

We rented from Rent a Wreck this season in Juneau and it was $57 for the day. Really adds a lot of flexibility. They have a location in town as well as the valley.
