Let's see.....we've had the locust (cicada who come every 13 years), an earthquake, and possibly a hurricane. Hope flu season is mild--don't need no stinking plague! Leonid Posted August 23, 2011 #9 Share Posted August 23, 2011 After having experienced the Loma Prieta quake in 1989 during the World Series in SF, ( I believe it was a 6.9), a 5.9 tremblor pales in comparison. No power for three days and glass everywhere. At least we had no structural damage but what a ride. Remember, it's a logarithmic and not a linear scale.
