bethcivil Posted August 30, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2011 I understand the kids will be gathered together with their zouk club for dinner but does anyone know if parents are allowed to bring their children to MDR should they dont put the children with their own group for dinner? G.M.T. Posted August 30, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2011 Not every kid is in the Sqouck club and so will ne with their parents in the MDR. Even if a kid is in the Squock club, they can still have dinner with their parents in the MDR. Ron
Capricruiser Posted August 31, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2011 That's "Squok" Club. I'm not young enough to enjoy it but the kids seem to have a great time. Regarding the MDR, most families opt for the first sitting leaving the second more for adults.
G.M.T. Posted August 31, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2011 Chuck, Thanks you for correct my attempts at the "Sqouck", "Squock" and finally and correctly "Squok" club. Ron PS. As you are still very young at heart I propose you be made an honorary "Squock Club" member.:)

dizzy1948 Posted September 1, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 1, 2011 We took grandchildren with us in April and we had a table for 4 on first sitting. (that was on the Classica by the way) but all dining rooms have tables for four - we didn't ask for that - it's what they gave us.
tjandluke Posted September 2, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 2, 2011 On the 2 cruises that I have been on. Mine came to the MDR every evening. There was not a kids club dinner every evening- from memory there were 3 throughout the cruise- formal evenings I think? On the Classica we were seated at a table for 4- met a lovely couple from only a few suburbs away. On the Romantica we were at a table for 10 with another family that had a child and another group. We were blessed with fantastic table-mates and we are all still in contact with each other! There were always kids in the MDR. We had early sitting both previous cruises. This time (due to port stops/ departure times) I have requested late sitting. This may sound weird for a Mum with a 6 year old to request late sitting- but at home we often don't eat until about 8:30 ish. I am not concerned that late sitting will be too late for us. I take a mini DVD player (with headphones) to dinner so mine will sit quite happily through a very long dinner! I get to relax and chat. He gets to chill!
