Grand Cayman Two Tank Dive

My wonderful wife is letting me take the two tank dive during our cruise, the problem is she is not certified. Does anyone know if they will let my wife sit on the boat while I dive?

I've seen nondivers tag along, but not very often, and certainly not on Carnival's official excursions. If you go independent, it will depend on the policy of the dive operator, the size and capacity of the boat.

I second Dutch Diver's suggestion, go independent! Some operators may have both snorkel and scuba available on the same excursion. If she is interested, they have beginner scuba excursions but I don't know if they would be on the same boat as certified divers.

Why not take advantage of the lower in-port prices and buy her a nice spa package while you're diving? I know I'd rather have a facial than be bored and sunburned sitting on an anchored dive boat (not to mention puking; I get horribly seasick at anchor).

Hey Joker, do not use the ships excursion. Don Fosters is the dive company and they are not the best, imho. FYI.

The Carnival operation in GC is Don Fosters and they are, as the other poster said, not the best (I say horrible cattle boat operation). Try Eden Rock or Sunset house.
