If you had a balcony on Oasis or Allure.....

I don't care how much a ship has to offer I have to connect to the sea. Otherewise why cruise? All the larger ships are so inward focused and so many of the public spaces have no windows I know I would miss it. Besides, our favorite time to enjoy balcony is in the wee hours (1-2am) with moonlight on the water or stars in the sky and a brandy in hand with cool ocean breeze on the skin.

We always have a balcony no matter which ship. On Oasis we had one and used it for morning coffee/sail away/ into port/out of port/wine before dinner... same as other cruises. We were ocean view and it was a delight.

I personally would not pay for Central Park or Boardwalk view or Royal Promenade. Just me.

Enjoy!

If I am only doing one cruise for the year, I always get a balcony. However, I have told DH that when we do the Oasis again or Allure for the first time, I will just book an ocean view and save some money. I would bet that I probably only spent an hour total out there.
