Does MSC serve coke or pepsi products? do they allow people to bring other favorite brands without question???

It varies on the ship, some serve Coke, while others serve Pepsi.

Unfortunately, beverages are not permitted to be brought onboard the ship from the outside.

When did this start?

 

We've had our own case of sodas and water with us at embarkation the past 2 winter caribbean seasons and nobody said a word to us. The staff seemed to care only about hard alcohol not soda. We didn't have it hidden in bags or anything like so many people do.

There is the official policy and then there is the enforcing of the official policy which is an entitrely different matter!

 

The no food or beverages to be brought onboard has been in place for over a year if not longer.

It is the policy, which is stated in our brochures. Lucky you that they let you proceed onboard with it! :)

DH and I only drink caffeine-free cola.

We brought 2 boxes with us last year on a B2B.... never had a problem!

If cruises sold the caffeine-free option, we'd buy it onboard.... but they don't!
