How many MSC ships have you sailed on?
Norwegian Cruiser 73 replied to Stockjock's topic in MSC Cruises
MSC Fantasia X 3, MSC Divina X 3, MSC Preziosa X 2, MSC Seaview X 2, MSC Armonia, MSC Poesia, MSC Magnifica, MSC Seascape, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Euribia. -
We were on the Ocean Cay on the 7th of March, and what a lovely day. We had a leisurely lunch in the Emporium Marketplace and then off to the beach β±οΈ No lines, no crowds and a relaxing atmosphere. They offered burgers, salads, fruit and drinks from a few food trucks on the beach close to the ship. The Lighthouse was also open. The ship didn't sail until late in the evening. Here are some pics from the day π We were also on the Ocean Cay in YC with the MSC Seascape, in March 2023. The YC area is very nice but the day with Explora was just as nice π And the island is so beautiful. 20240307_133404.mp4

Food allergies and Luminae
Norwegian Cruiser 73 replied to screwsmcernst's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I was in the Retreat on the Edge in September and I have Celiac disease. Dining in the Luminae was a breeze π We also dined one evening in the Rooftop Garden Grill, no issues. Make sure to let them know with a notice in your booking. The menus are allergy marked, and there are always several dishes that are gluten free. They can also make other dishes gluten free for you, and their gluten free bread and toast is very good. Ocean View CafΓ© is also excellent, everything is clearly allergy marked. -
Good afternoon from Norway, Here is a short videotour of the Skysuite 9174 in the Retreat on the Celebrity Edge. We had an amazing cruise last week and we simply loved this stateroom. So spacious and modern and with all the amenities you could wish for ππ Enjoy the video π

We disembarkated from the Retreat on the Celebrity Edge in Barcelona last Saturday. We stayed in a SS and here is a photo of the minibar and the price list. We stopped by the fridge in the Retreat Lounge and stocked up with sodas and water every afternoon. You could have a much as you wanted. The bubbles were there when we embarked the ship.

On Equinox in a Sky Suite (after butler change)
Norwegian Cruiser 73 replied to DingoMom's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We're in a Sky Suite in the Retreat on the Celebrity Edge soon, so to summarise, nothing in the in suite minibar is included ? We need to go to the The Retreat Lounge to get a coke zero or a bottle of water ? In that case it is quite a difference to the MSC Yacht Club which we usually sail. We are very excited to try the Retreat for the first time and it will be interesting to see how it compares to the MSC Yacht Club. -
Good evening from Norway, We are sailing on the Celebrity Edge soon, in The Retreat, and disembarkation is in Barcelona. When do we have to vacant the cabin and when do we have to disembark the ship ? Any answers appreciated π

You're right, they are basically the same on all the ships in the Meraviglia Class. Some different interior and decor colours here and there. -
MSC Euribia Yacht Club Suite Videos
Norwegian Cruiser 73 replied to Norwegian Cruiser 73's topic in MSC Cruises
Yes, very nice suites in the YC on the Euribia. The Royal Suites was occupied during the event so no chance to see them. -
During the christening ceremony of the MSC Euribia in June i visited a Yacht Club Deluxe Suite and a Yacht Club Duplex Suite with a private jacuzzi. Have a look at the videos below π What's your favourite?

MSC Cruises don't offer gluten free pizza on their ships. Nothing in the buffet is allergy marked and the only ( 100 % safe ) option for celiacs and gluten sensitive persons, is the MDR, which offer a dedicated gluten free menu each night. The food comes from a dedicated GF kitchen. They might offer GF pasta, atleast they did in the Yacht Club Restaurant. The speciality restaurant Butcher's Cut ( steakhouse) also offer GF meals. Highly recommended. Hope this helps.

According to the website Port Of Stockholm the MSC Poesia is planned to dock in Frihamnen in Stockholm, not StadsgΓ₯rden. Usually MSC offers shuttlebuses from the cruiseport to the citycenter , including Stockholm. https://www.portsofstockholm.com/vessel-calls/

To bad that the BC didn't deliver on the World Europa. Who could forget Pepe π How was the lava cake ? A few weeks ago we had a great time with delicious food in the Butcher's Cut on the MSC Seascape in the Caribbean. The NY Sirloin Steak was grilled to perfection and the tomato soup was excellent. Two in our party had the cheesecake and they loved it, so clearly there are differences in the fleet. Sorry to hear that your experience was disappointing π -

She was given a paper bar menu as the QR code wouldnβt scan for here π So it seems like they continue with paper menus. I've just returned from the Seascape, they had paper and laminated menus there as well. -
Here is a fresh photo of the minibar in our YC cabin , taken the 5th of March onboard the MSC Seascape.

We sailed in the YC on the Seascape a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful day on Ocean Cay in warm and sunny weather. The YC facilities on the island are great and the Ocean House serve a lunch. Don't miss the lobster roll, so delicious. We stayed on the beach and there is a barservice. All included. A terrific day, would love to do it again. Here are some photos of the area including the lunch that I had in the Ocean House π―π
