Spitsbergen & North Cape any info??

Recommended Posts

This was our favourite cruise. There is beautiful scenery most of the time you are at sea. Try and get a cabin on Caribe deck as these balconys are larger and also covered which is great as the weather can be very changeable in Norway. Most of the places you are visiting are walkable with the exception of Honningsvag where you need to book the bus from Princess up to North Cape. I would also recommend taking a tour in Lofoten and if you can the Hellesylt to Geiranger one is a good one. No need for tours anywhere else you are visiting. In Bergen the city of Bergen gave free transfers into town from the ship which was really good. I suggest you spend some time reading our old roll call for June. There are some handy tips there.

Longyearbyen there is a shuttle bus to town or you can walk but watch for Polar bears :D

Honningsvaag we pre booked a taxi to North Cape for 7 of us not sure what Princess charges but a bit cheaper to DIY

There is a town bus but timing may not work for you so do some research
