john174 Posted September 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2011 Hi folks just wanted to pick your brains and ask for advice in travel insurance. Have travelled alot before, but notcruising, so just want to see if anyone recommends or have any horror stories of insurance companies to avoid? I know you can search the web for sites, but would sooner look at ones that you guys have used in the past. Thanks for your time and look forward to seeing anyone who is cruising next week on the independence of the seas!!! :) john

If you travel even just a couple of times a year its worth getting an annual policy - in which case you need a general travel policy which includes cruising. We use insure&go, their policy seems as good as most, they offer various levels of cover & their premiums are competetive. Don't know how good they are with claims, never had to make one JB :)
newport dave Posted September 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2011 We use Atlas Direct, they have various levels of cover and a competitively priced 'Annual Cover' if you don't have any pre-existing conditions.
